We enjoyed an outing to the Portland Rose Gardens. While I don't grow any roses at my house, it's impossible not to appreciate the beauty and diversity of these flowers. Not to mention, the very fun and creative names of all the different roses (wish I'd written my favorites down).
This dragon fly was huge and very cool looking. I was able to get a couple shots of him before he flew off to the next rose.
This area of the garden reminds me very much of the gardens in Mendocino,CA. You don't see trumpet flowers often around home and they are just so amazing to me.
