Kaari had her dress rehearsal last night for her ballet recital at the old Capital Theater. The theater (even the stage) was so dark, even with my ISO bumped up as high as it goes and my aperature at it's largest, I couldn't get a decent exposure. I played with exposure compensation without much luck as well. I used the flash to get this one of her waiting in her seat watching the other dancers between her performances.
After rehearsal, I took the family behind the theater to show them the alley that is a constantly changing work of graffiti-art. I love the contrast of the prim and proper ballerina with the colorful urban art background. Tyce thought the wall was pretty amazing too. :)

Oh how great! I think I know right where you took this too ;)
