Lots of changes this weekend! We moved from el Cid Marina to our apartment for the month of July. The beauty of being at Torre Diamonte is that we are walking distance from our school. Added bonus, we have a decent kitchen and can more easily make our own meals and we have a place to wash clothes (albeit by hand).

Friday was our neice, Luella's 1st birthday! Happy Birthday Lu! It was also our friend who lives here, Jen's birthday. So we were lucky enough to get to spend the evening with her, Michael and more of their friends.

Walking the malecon in the evening. It's a happening place to be on Friday and Saturday evenings.
By mornings and early evenings it is a hot spot for exercising; running, biking walking, skating, etc.

Saturday afternoon, Dave had to head home. :( It's sad to have him leave but he will be super busy traveling for work for the next 3 weeks (even though he worked every day during his time here, too. We will also stay busy with classes and homework and our newest task... handwashing our laundry! ;)
