Family Fun

7.26.16

Dave is back!  Wahoo.  On Saturday early evening, after a long travel day, Dave made it back to Mazatlan.  While the kids and I were at a going-away BBQ and fun game for Reid with his baseball team, Dave headed to El Cid Marina to relax and wait for us to finish.  He was greeted so warmly, I think it made his day.  We made our way back as quickly as possible and have been really enjoying our time together.

We have been trying to make the most of our remaining time in Mazatlan.  Lots of fun with friends and family.  This post specifically includes family pictures...
Swimming in the Torre Diamonte pool

The boys hanging out poolside.  Just across the street is the malecon &
 the ocean.  Can't beat it!

Walking the malecon at sunset.

Another beautiful sunset with Valentinos in the background.

Walking from the Plazuela Machado in historic downtown towards the Malecon.

Love the historic downtown!

Dave - This is the malecon several miles south of our place.

Imagine the view from that house on the hill!

The Cueva Del Diablo gets it's name from the French invasion in Mexico when Mexicans tried
to escape into this cave hoping to find another exit.  The story we were told was that everyone
died trying to find another way out or was killed by the French at this entrance.

A sculpture?  Or a slide into a pool made with ocean water?  Both!

The public ocean pool - how cool is this!

Out for a walk - just before getting caught in a downpour!!!
